Backwater of Kerala is most famous one around the world . Backwater is a network of lakes and

Lagoons which connects river to the  Arabian sea .Almost 38 rivers are there in Kerala which ends in Arabian sea , they will form 5 lakes before joining in to it. Among this 5 lakes , Vembanadu lake in central kerala and Ashtamudi lake in south kerala are more famous in tourism segment. Around 560 miles ( 1500 km ) waterways are there in Kerala, and was one of the oldest goods transporting mode .

By travelling through these Lakes and lagoons ( backwater of kerala ) we can enjoy the natural beauty of Gods own country , we can experience the real village life of fisher man , coir makers and workers in the paddy field.
