Overview

Nuwara eliya is a hill station destination in Srilanka , which is situated i Central procvice and a district capital  of Nuwara eliya district. Nuwara eliya is located at height of 1868 metres from sea level , so it is having a good cold climate .

Gregory lake and boating in this lake are very famous now a days . Seetha amman kovil ( actually it is a Hanuman kovil but famous as Seetha amman kovil and is related  to Ramayana ) is other spot where tourists visits  other than Hakgala botanical garden and some Strawberry farms and small waterfalls  on the way to Nuwara Eliya.

In Seetha Amman Kovil you can see the statue of Hanuman who is visiting Seetha Amman , who is sitting under the Ashoka tree. The prints of Hanuman  is also marked here clearly.

Nuwara eliya is the major contributor of Tea production of Srilanka and we can see good tea plantations, tea factory here.
